Acquisition paths
How to put us on contract.
Thresholds below reflect the FAR inflation adjustment effective 1 October 2025. We hold no GSA schedule or GWAC today, so open market, simplified acquisition, and subcontract are the live paths.
- 01
Micro-purchase
Up to $15,000
Government purchase card. No competition required. Useful for an assessment, a scoped prototype, or a security review that tells you whether the larger requirement is real.
- 02
Simplified acquisition
$15,001 to $350,000
Reserved for small business under FAR 19.502-2(a) when two or more small firms can perform at fair market price. This is our primary lane as a prime today.
- 03
Subcontract to a prime
Any size
We take subcontract roles where a prime needs development or security depth it does not have on the bench. We have done this work before and we do not compete with the prime for the client.
- 04
Teaming and joint venture
Above $350,000
For requirements past our current prime capacity, we team. Talk to us early enough to structure it properly rather than three days before the proposal is due.
For primes
Teaming and subcontracting
If you are a prime carrying a subcontracting plan and you need development or security depth, we are worth a conversation.
We take subcontract roles on the technical scope and stay out of the client relationship. We have delivered as a development lead under a prime on an Air Force SBIR Phase II, so the working model is familiar: your contract, your customer, our engineers on the part of the work that needs them.
What we need from you is the technical scope, the period of performance, and the security requirements. What you will get back within two business days is a straight yes or no on capability, named people, and a rate structure.
